February 18, 2012 - Drink

Last night was Spam and Anchovies Cooking Club. This was one of the wine selections. When (Melissa, this one is for you) a night away from the kids never seemed so legit this is the wine for you! :) I don't drink red wine because it gives me a migraine but my cooking buddies seemed to enjoy it. :)

February 17, 2012 - Time

Just a moment in time when it is me, by myself in my car, waiting on my kiddos to get out of school. A moment of anticipation for fun break time before diving into homework and dinner prep.

February 16, 2012 - Something New

Today we were in a section of town that we don't get to all that often. Since we were there we decided to go to Rose Pepper Cantina. My hubs had been there before but I had not so it was a perfect subject for something new. It was fantastic. They brought three types of salsa (new to me), I had avocado fries (new to me) and flautas that were not spicy (new to me). It was a new experience that is definitely worth repeating in the future.

February 15, 2012 - Phone

I really wanted to take a photo of a pay phone today, or even a pay phone booth. However, I couldn't find one anywhere! I even asked at Target if they had a pay phone. They were happy to let me use the customer service phone but alas, no pay phone. So, here is Target's attempt at a retro phone complete with messed up cardboard docking station example.

February 14, 2012 - Heart

Since it is Valentine's Day there was no shortage of hearts to shoot. One of my students brought cupcakes with heart sprinkles. One student brought chocolate and one student brought heart shaped cookies. For dessert tonight my hubs helped me make heart shaped funnel cake. It has been a day of hearts! :)

I know, I know. This is not technically a closet but it is the doorway to my basement. When you live in a house that is 94 years old you have to get a little creative with storage.
